AED Germany welcomes Marc Metzler as Senior Business Development Manager, further strengthening its commercial presence in the German market. Following the arrival of Alexandre Bravo in the same role last year, Marc’s appointment completes the team, creating a strong foundation for continued growth and customer support across Germany.

With extensive experience in the event and AV industry, Marc brings valuable market knowledge, a strong network and a hands-on understanding of the rental and production world. Marc’s career in the event industry started at the age of 16, when he began working as a sound technician for a small rock ’n’ roll cover band. As the band went on to perform at larger festivals, Marc came into contact with Sound Company, where he would continue to work for many years. He later joined Niclen, where he spent more than 23 years building extensive expertise in sales across audio and lighting rental.

Over the years, Marc has developed a strong network throughout Germany, with valuable connections in both rental and sales. This background makes him a strong addition to AED Germany’s commercial team and a familiar point of contact for many professionals in the market.
