BOE MLED and AED Display enter into a European partnership, elevating COG (Chip-On-Glass) technology in the AV market.

As a global leader in the semiconductor display industry, BOE has led China’s display industry to grow from the ground up. In the MLED field, BOE MLED is now extending its global presence, particularly in Europe.  BOE MLED has been introducing its cutting-edge SMD, COB (Chip on board), and COG (Chip on glass) technologies and products to the European market. 

AED Display is set to play a crucial role in BOE MLED's European endeavors, not only in promoting the BOE MLED brand but also in leveraging its expertise in the high-end segment of displays, particularly LED display products. This collaboration will enable AED Display to contribute its extensive experience in dry hire and distribution to BOE's ongoing product development and market adaptation efforts. 

Mr. Thierry Heldenbergh, Managing Director of AED Display, firmly believes in the potential of this new COG (Chip on Glass) technology. The integration of micro LEDs into the glass, which conducts heat efficiently, eliminates scan lines and achieves an IP65 rating due to its protection in glass, making it suitable for outdoor use. He envisions these products as ideal for fixed installations. He is confident that BOE MLED, with its innovative COG technology, will soon emerge as a renowned brand across Europe.
