Every ambitious AV project starts with a strong idea. Bringing that idea to life, however, often requires specialized expertise and the right combination of technology and equipment.
Introducing the AED Special Projects Team! A dedicated team of experienced AV professionals helping clients successfully deliver technically demanding projects, large-scale installations, and complex assignments, both nationally and internationally.
Meet the experts
The team is led by Michael al Far and Hans Cromheecke, two seasoned consultants with long-standing service in the AV industry. With a strong international network and a deep understanding of the evolving AV landscape, they are positioned to lead complex projects from concept to completion, connecting the right expertise, technology, and partners.
Michael Al-Far is a Belgian creative director, producer and entertainment technology consultant based in the United Kingdom. He works internationally across film, broadcast, live entertainment, immersive experiences and virtual production.
Hans Cromheecke is the technical wizard whose reputation on the global stage of video technology is widely acknowledged as one the very best. He focuses on the technical side of AV projects, including systems engineering and technology integration.
Depending on the project's requirements, they collaborate closely with AED project managers, product experts, and commercial teams, bringing together the right expertise for every challenge. With nearly 200 brands available for rental and more than 30 brands offered for sale, this combination of product knowledge and technical expertise enables them to tackle virtually any complex AV challenge.
The AED Special Projects Team offers audiovisual integrators and production companies an extra layer of expert support. Working alongside their teams, they help explore ideas, work through technical challenges, and identify the right solutions for each project, complementing the client's own expertise with specialist knowledge and a collaborative approach.
